After your first appointment between 8 to 10 weeks of pregnancy, Dr Bajra will see you every 4 weeks until you are 28 weeks pregnant. Once you reach 28 weeks of pregnancy, she will see you every 2 weeks until you reach 36 weeks of pregnancy. From 36 weeks, Dr Bajra will see you weekly until the time you give birth to your baby, or 41 weeks of pregnancy. This will depend upon your individual circumstances and wishes.

Anaesthetist

Most patients stay between 4 to 5 days in hospital after the delivery of their baby. However, this is not strictly enforced. If any medical problems arise, you may need to stay longer at the hospital.
After the birth of your baby, you will be provided support in looking after the baby and with breastfeeding. A referral Lactation Consultant will be organised if needed. You will be given details of maternal and child welfare clinics for ongoing feeding advice.
